Luckily my daughter happens to be staying with me due to her house was one the tornados in Garland hit, and was able to catch it before it started a fire. It completely destroyed the charger and left burn marks on the baseboard and wall where it was resting by. The stress I am already under from our tornado experience and the resettling of my daughter and her children in my home is amplified when I think what the outcome would have been if she would not have been there this morning or if this would have happened during the night!!! I am contacting the BBB and FTC's Bureau of Consumer Protection and filing a complaint with them about this issue!!! I KNOW this is not the first time Samsung has had issues with chargers and batteries catching fire, but I would have thought that these issues would have been fixed since all the publicity and attention the news was giving this problem!!!
