GetHuman-pottere:Freedompop is barely adequate, the basic service is unreliable. I purchased a Nexus * from Freedompop and signed up for the cell service porting over my phone number. Dropped calls, words dropping out during calls, and static were agonizingly frequent. Upgrading to a Monthly plan with LTE and using their premium voice upgrade is more reliable. Still, calls may not come through at times. Calls using home Wi-fi delay connecting for many seconds (*-**, or more) often result in hangups by the caller. Freedompop discontinued my MMS messaging after approximately * months with an app update, which come frequently, several times a week or more. They then requested that I purchase another add-on for MMS capability. BUT, because I had a upgraded to a monthly plan, billed yearly, that was unavailable. SMS only now. Customer care did not follow through and return calls about the issue. To sum up: good in a pinch, frustrating if you're used to large carrier quality.
